« While the staff attempted to be friendly, there was a lot of instances where keys just stopped working, loud maintenance work, and the rooms were just so-so. It may be better to just stay in Brookings, SD and drive to De Smet vs staying here. »

« The property was in a good location, clean, cozy and the owners provided excellent information on finding the cabin. This was a fall Pheasant hunting trip, so lake access was not an issue (dock was pulled). However, the listing was inaccurate in number of people who could comfortably stay. There were two of us (adults) and that was fine. Four would be challenging and they'd have to share beds. Any more would be very tough. The bathroom was exceedingly small. Kitchen reasonably equipped but...

« This house is stunning and worked out great for our group. The yard had some pokey weeds in it and the beach out from the house wasn't cleaned up to use, nor was the public beach. But none the less the property is beautiful & we had such a fun time playing hard games and hanging out in the screened in porch. Beautiful property for a relaxing time. »

It was so clean and organized and Victoria thought of so many amenities for the guests. From toothbrushes to disposable cutlery/plates/etc to scotch tape and pens, we had everything we needed and more! This property is highly recommended by us! »
